We always see polls for the best players of each class, but never for those who may not be the deadliest nightshade, may not be the fastest ranger on the draw or the healer who will heal/rezz non-party members, but who are the most respected players of their class.

If you feel that a player is both the best at their class and the player of that class you respect the most then thats cool and will be the case quite often im sure, but there are a few players out there who are well respected and often go unnoticed.

I suppose this is meant as a hib post only but if theres one thing I've learnt, its that respect is harder to earn from enemies than realm mates, so here's who I would say I respect the most from each class:


Ranger: Gear
Reason: Always has had a good attitude on FH, started off as a rivalry in old frontiers, hadrians wall, after a while though I really have come to respect him as an honourable archer with a good battlesense.

Bard: Akagi
Reason: Just always seems to get the better of me, on my pally if I've been trying to slam him he's suddenly zoomed off, then the second i stop chasing he turns and mezzes

Druid: Dierna
Reason: She beat my scout in a straight 1 on 1, and seems to me to be a true solo'er, which is worthy of alot of respect in the current state of the game.

Eldrich: Kippie
Reason: Beacuse I've seen his FG spare solo'ers on various occasions, because of his attitude here on FH.

Enchanter: Stajjijjon
Reason: Because I've not once managed to get even close to him in a 1 on 1, with scout or pally

Animist: Horlely
Reason: Because of the fights in old frontiers/hardrians wall, damn hard animist to kill

I generally don't like these kind of threads because they're usually about leet people that rokx, ownsz and whatnot. The outcome generally is based on those people with hifghest rank or with the biggest mouth in public (be it FH or /AS). Like on other forums, the same names turn up time on time again... (luckily, what I've read sofar, people that have replied haven't 'voted' like above...).

The intention of this one thread: "there are a few players out there who are well respected and often go unnoticed" is nice and worth the effort thinking about it and replying.

I won't be naming any guildies, they are the best a man can get anyway

Ranger
Gogogopowerranger has been great fun these last few weeks, running around (re)taking towers and is often there to be found where the zerg isn't.

Warden
Ajaxx, fun guy being grouped with for pvp... always a saucy comment quickly available suiting the moment.

Bard
Zwixx, can't remember the last time being grouped with this toon... been a long time ago. Zwixx is always there though... no matter where you look

Druid
Douglas (still playing??) always a nice guy to be grouped with, great teamplayer. Even when not grouped he'll deal some buffs and heals and rezzes, often without asking (specially the latter 2)

Champion
Almeie (just had to plant fellow countryman Vf in here somewhere) has the knack to PO people... can be hilarious

Blademaster
Nightsend... the twat "temporarily" stopped playing as he calls it... imo one of the nicest people in the game (although a bit grumpy at times).
Aragvain is close second in the blademaster section though.

Eldrich
Weagle... a totally funny guy always hugging my firb's leg (annoying to get it off as well cause he got great grip )

Enchanter
Always fun to see Thekevaroo run solo somewhere in the frontiers. Besides, Kev as organiser of raids is a very good thing.

Mentalist
Meanie is the general nice ment that, when farming artemobs, is just about always willing to open up a bg to give people encounter credit. Something which could be considered a rare value these days.

Animist
Horlely, general great person, been that for years tbh. Real assett to CLA as well I imagine looking at all the good stuff happening there.

Valewalker
Are there still any out there in the frontiers?

NS - Vf, Nice person to chat to, helped me level alot, as well as being an enclopieda of daoc stuff.
NS - Nuok, strong NS, made me some armor for free, cause I wasn't so well off.
Ranger - Gear, Organises loads of ML raids, as well as a strong ranger.
Ani - Tiddelbon(spelling?) and her bf, helped with buffs and some money when starting.

Mostly for helping me in hibbie land, knowing their stuff and being great enemies on the battlefield.

Champ - Slapyato, great player, very helpfull

BM - i always liked Wert, don't leave, you one of the good guys.

Druid - Racooon /cheer, great guy on all his toons, very helpful and great fun to group with.

Ranger - I've always liked Ozrique and Puk, and the irreplacable Censi of course. I vividly remember Censi posing in Domnann on the vault keeper's counter with a crazy pink stag hat and twin ebops Much respect
Nightshade - Iphis for being his random self! A hello to snakeeyes too - I only ever spotted her at the most obscure times it seems
Bard - Brae Tonnika, an old friend I like Bard (the firbie bard) too, and lots of other friendly bards I've met
Warden - Spetznas (hope I spelled your name right) for being a gruff firby and nice guy
Druid - Hunya, Fluffs and Armonia, great people
Hero - Khefru and Sleet! True heroes
Champion - Elric! no doubt a big reason I kept trying the class

Eldrich - Conor, my cranky guildmaster and a great guy
Enchanter - Novindus, someone I've had a lot of fun with.
