lots of hibs (including me) have been 'away' since weekend's lag fest, dunno i guess albs didnt mind the lag as they took bolg and stuff.. but i found it rather unplayable and depressing, and once u are 'forced' to stop playing for a few days, its easy to keep urself away and sort a few things up to date 
also tried some shit game with some rl friends ;p~

they would actually find cash/seal/scroll farming appealing tho, and prolly drop the current prices, but they would b running everywhere with their supertoons jumping and spamming /duel challenge on everyone they come across wo a word.. t.t

I mean, god, most hibs dont really miss gp, i dont remember ever having a talk about lack of GP on any rvr grp.. Only albs keep GP fresh in their memories, id guess its hard to drop something u blamed every defeat on for like 3 years
And yes ive played both mid and alb, ive seen a lot of ppl whine on a broken mezz blaming it on gp.. Ive even seen sorcs whine big time about GP when they never actually mezzed..
Other than that yes, am sure if hib had again power relics a lot of ppl would become active again, just as am sure if it wasnt because of ur 3 strenght relics u wouldnt b soloing camping bridges with your charge+tendrilspam rdy to 'pwn'

There ws a time before toa in which GP was really powerful _and_ necesary for hibs, since we only had 1 (mocless) curemezzer per grp.. but since toa the war of CC turned into the war of interrupts, and since NF we can easily put 2 (moc) curemezzers in grp and got access to sos...
Get over it. Losing GP is prolly the last of the problems hibs got in NF.. Hell u still have shrooms and soon banshees to stack fustration/anger on

hibs having 3 pow relics was alot bigger problem then GP tbh. ok they are not mezzed, can get over it, interrupt them (theurgist - shaman was excellent in that matter)
But if they managed to nuke some...
oops 3 shoted by rr5+ eld/chantah/mentalist?
oops 2fg vanished from 3 pbaers in 3 seconds due to 900+ pbs?
ooh rr3 TD zergling nuking for 600?
or the 2 shoted by rr8-rr10 nukers without debuff after toa against 50% cold, huhu so cool... :E
so GP in fg vs fg wasnt that much of a problem (ofc it was handy, would be silly to deny it), but GP was rather annoying as hib zerg was unCCable with 3 pow relic nuking stuning casters :E
