"Add and be added upon" a player/friend once told me . There is nothing more enjoyable than being in the middle of a huge zerg fight . When the game was young there used to be some battles where hibs albs and mids would field 40 - 60 people each . It was great fun , the battles last longer . As for tactics , the tactics involved in one fg Vs on fg pale into insignificance compared with the tactics 5 fg's can employ . Flanking , reinforcement , partial retreats , timed charges when the enemy is bottle necked and much more .
After all is said and done , I'll run to emain solo and unbuffed still , I'll run with any group that'll invite me . I'll run in groups with no bard . It's only a game and it's given me such a good laugh , I'll keep playing until I stop laughing .

/wild applause

go for it, just dont be hypocrits and dislike 'powergamers' because they dont want to zerg.

Fact is though, I've never met a powergamer who wasn't happy to zerg when it suited them - usually when they're playing low RR alts and so stand precisely zero chance running as 1fg.

well.. zerg vs zerg.. fine but most of the days when i even go with 1fg i end up suiciding at apk like most of the ppl due to lack of action...

/who emain... currently 36
/who odin... currently 30

....deja vu? imo zergs are just needed for keeps/relics etc, i like the tention of the fg fights even if i die i have some fun doing my best to end it standing, altho i dont give a fuk if ppl add or not... its RvR not PvP.. unless its a 1v1 fight going.. i try avoid adding on those...

anyway chillout and have fun... thats what a game is for

I remember the good old zerging days in emain, mainly Crim valley.
Back then the zerging had true tactics, loads of flanking and retreating to get enemy split up etc. Loved those fights.

Still remember my best void AOE, I had just turned 50, and ran up to AMG where hibs where fighting albs. Someone had mezzed all the albs, so I selected the centre one and let my AOE fly. 24 albs instaganked me, and I can remember lying very still on the grass while Jozen or someone shouted 'WHO DID THAT BIG VOID AOE???'.
