I love the hib zerg because you see everything there, white cons,green cons,blue cons, yellow cons,orange cons (still 47 i am)trees,cats,dogs, everyone is welcome there and that is what i like at hibs.You are really fun, i really enjoy fighting hibs!

Everytime I die by hibzerg in Emain it's /release /quit. wheneven I die from midzerg it's /release /port_back_to_emain_for_more_fun.

I get so very annoyed with their stun. When you fight mids you ALWAYS have a chance to fight back and the battles seem to be decided by what realm (alb or mids) have the best skill/tactics.

When fighting hibs you get stunned for an eternity, and while you stand there totally helpless you have 40 lil lurikeens hitting you to death with an amazing 10 damage critical per swing.

Maybe I should blame the albs for always picking tanks as their first targets, and not mages/healers (yeh i know you have to run all the way to the back of enemy lines for this .. scary eh?) but it's just soo much easier to blame the baseline eternity stun.

Funniest thing i ever heard, but dont forget our stun is a tactic too. As i know midgardian healers got aoe-stun (11sec) though not as many healers as casters from our side. Pity you quit when dead to the hibzerkers but an achivment for us = Emain (hibland) clear.

wouldn't say stun is a tactic. Can't be broken like mezz, roots and have a whole army avoiding breaking mezz - taking one target at a time - is tactic. It doesn't happen alot (mostly some lvl 30 clerics wants to try his uber AE-smite on mezzed armies .. thanes of albion?) but when it works it feel damn good

Stun is pure evil and requires no coordination or tactic, in my oppinion of course. Healers have stun aye but when albs fight mids they've learned to take out healers first, or healers have forgot how to use it

you have clerics with stun and minstrels with insta stun. true hib casters will prob be outnumbering em a bit, but shouldn't be by that much tbh.. also you can only target one enemy at at time.. so yes it does require some tactics to use well. From your accounts a hib army of equal size can all stun EVERY alb before you get a hit in, and then kill you all before the stuns wear out. The only way that happens if the entire hib zerg was all casters, you had no infils/scouts, and the hib casters communicated through telepathy so taht they all target different enemies for stun

yah I know all realms have stun. It's just soo darn annoying with hibs cause you NEVER forget to stun me and i NEVER get to fight back. even if I don't stand a chance, say 20 hibs and I'm alone, you always start with a stun and then wack away.

I'm an armsman for gods sake! I have the right to be annoyed!

err... how can you tell which middie is the Healer? The don't have distinguishing characteristics like carrying a staff and wearing robes... and the initial CC they cast is insta and has no cast graphics for the caster... Only when they start mezzing are you able to tell which is the Healer.

Hib 'zergs' DO use tactics. Initially, bards AoE Mezz (Bards = the ones carrying instruments, usually found ahead of the pack casting the mezz), Tanks try to get straight to the casters at the back of the enemy, while Hib casters pick a target, stun, debuff if enchanter with heat debuff, and then kill. Druids and Bards heal those who need it, and only resort to AoE if the mezz runs out, fails, or is purged. Makes sense doesn't it? Well, sometimes it does, until you get a silly manachanter running into the middle and pbaoe'ing

But as I've said before, I prefer small battles where tactics really come into play, proper tactics, like flanking, surrounding, decoys, traps.... Love setting traps and Albs like chasing single Enchanters, right into 20 Hibs

I love figting hibs! and I dont get stunned alot, I try to get into the postion where its almst impossible,
and I got the advice "Kill the guy with the lute and you win" so Im chargin thorugh the tanks and jump the first robe/lute gimp I see.

Im often running around trying to hit them to interupt spellcasting and hope the main tanks ahve killed the hib fighters before I die with 4 luris after me =)

Or you could've specced to 42 shield so you had your own 9 second stun (that won't be cut down by resists/determination etc).

Best tactic is to AE mezz and then shield stun "wake" people one by one with 4-5 people bashing on people. At least that seemed a pretty viable tactic 3 months ago.

You learn the name and if they have a small shield they go down first

Either an Alb zerg at mmg, or a Mid zerg at amg.
Albs/Mids: "Pffft, there's nothing to do here, lets go take sum keeps"
Crauchon taken!
Crimthainn taken, though a few hibs there defending!
Hibs: "FFS FUCKING ALB/MID ZERG"
Albs/Mids attack Bolg too, get blasted away at lordroom.
It's about 8pm now, all Hibs at Bolg retaliate and take back Crimthainn.
Hibs get reinforcements and go to Emain.
Hibs take Crauchon.
Emain owned by 80 Hibs.
Albs/Mids: "FFS FUCKING HIB ZERG" (notice what hibs said in the start?)
And the day ends when Hibs go to sleep and got some Realm Points

Teador, sounds like hibs define a zerg on 2-3 groups, when its hibs its as you say 80 people

Anyways, nothing more fun than fighting hibs, either they are equal number and die rather quickly , or they are 3x your numbers and run over you.
