Yes, it was the 1,500 hibs that we brought to attack Excalibur that crashed the server. The 17 albs who rushed to defend it had nothing to do with it.

ahh we thought so just wasnt so sure, was that the weekday emain zerg u brought?? i think we should consider ourselves lucky the hibs didnt bring the weekend hibby zerg or we would have been in serious trouble.

why? you could just log in the 17 zillion lvl 50's that are logged at excal and rain zerg terror on all...

Just wanna say thanks for the hibbies complimenting us. You mention loads of albs who comes to defend, thx for that one. Albion is a nice realm and caring for their relics, thanks again. And also for being logged at relic.

Am I right in thinking the hibs went for our relic as our realm was under attack from the event force? Just curious is all...

Ya we contacted a corrupt GM to start that event there, so you would be too busy and we could get the relic. Then we asked the same corrupt GM to crash the server, because we were all feeling guilty... seeing you albs are gimps already even with the strength relics

Actually, was thinking more along the lines of seeing as it was posted all over the boards that we were under attack that the Hibs might just have decided to take advantage is all. Nothing wrong with that of course, striking when your enemy is otherwise engaged and all that.... just if it is true that that's how it happened, has implications for publicised dragon/legion raids etc...

i think it worked quite well for albion, loads of peeps at the event - soon as shouts of 'hibs attacking excal' all suicided on the event mobs and released to CS, so many in fact at the same time eventually brought the server down.
Then server comes back up and albs bash all the now solo hibs as they log back in one-by-one.
Looks like the tactic of taking advantage of the event backfired eh

the raid was actually planned days ago, so the event happening at the same time was just a bit of luck/unluck

Actually, after months of hardcore drilling inside Hibernian borders, we are now able to mobilise hundreds in a mere 3 minutes. Tapping into a SMS service that was written to aid all in Hibernia, by SMS'ing up-to-date tactical RvR status and relic information to guild splinter cells. Backed up by cunningly placed level 1 stealther realm spies at telepads and vital strategic points throughout Albion, we have information constantly fed into an info-pool, to be assimilated and used in the planning of relics. Massive amounts of platinum are farmed in the Bog of Cullen Daily, and shipped to pay off vital people at GOA and Mythic, to ensure that Hibernia remains strong, despite the vastly superior Alb numbers.
That is only out attack plans...you should see our defense...
