we had ~200 there and got him below 5 %, we will get him next time.

Yeah we took it down to 5% on sunday with about 190 ppl same tactics.. just 110 less ppl :X

Get more tanks instead of all those nukies you got :p It's probably one of the main reasons Hibernia realms on servers didn't kill him yet :) We all know Mid and Alb have much fighters but to be honest Hibernia hasn't that much.. (I might be wrong but the perspective most people have if they wanna play a Hib is playing an Eldritch or an Enchanter...)

Aussie sees a bunch of pics and is immediately a qualified eye-witness on how much health the dragon had left.

On the first attempt, people were shouting that he was down to 5% health, but I never actually saw him go below about 10%. However when we got overrun with the last glimmer knight pop, I died with a glimmer targeted and couldn't follow the last bit of the fight - and there were still hibs in there swinging away.

10% is just the point where he starts to get nasty, doing stun call uberuberguards etc etc, so i guess you're far from the victory.

it's still a difference.
btw the last 10% is the hardest part imo
prolly harder then the first 90%
albs failed several times at 10%



btw, didn't Germans said: No magic: no rez, no proc, no dmgbuff , spells ?
why do i see 2 screens of 2 different ppl with rez illness?

Because they didnt say "no rez" :rolleyes:

The rules were, no spells *at all* inside the lair except res. That includes procs and stuff, now, we didnt actually find out why the dragon still used his aoe, but he sure used it ALOT less than he used to.(comparing to screenies and logs from the US since ive only ever been on one dragon raid and then we had like 10 lvl 50 guys and like 50 ppl on the actual raid).

We will get him next time though ;)

This was one key to success (i think): no magic but ressing.
no buffs, no debuffs, no heal, no songs, no active RA... really nothing. Also no poison.

Damage add is ok too, so long as you cast it long before you get anywhere near him.

Just out of interest, would a damage add not register as a magical attack? I am probably wrong, just a thought :)
