You mean the way after you explored it goes dark again, unlike pother RTS where it stays visible but you can't see the enemy move in.
Annoying innit.

Type supervizor in the chat box and it gets rid of fog of war pernamently.

In the x-packs there are options to disable the fog of war in MP games and SP games

I just love building huge Cities, and using alliances to wipe out the enemy using thousands of units.

I remeber a fleet battle with me(England) and them(France) I think the count was 500 ships on my side and 600 on theirs and I kicked there asses I had 20 ships left after the battle it was so call to watch. With the amount of cannons going off my PC Speakers broke.
