hmm, it seems there's going to be a film made of Mr Adams' trilogy in four parts. do you think it will amount to anything? to be honest I didn't really like the books, but there was a charm to them and I think that a film is going to do them far less than justice

The books were reasonably funny but never really hit me where it matters. I guess I just don't have the required sense of humour as I often found myself bored when reading them. Saying that, the first one is still my favourite.
