Yay I got on a PC again!
Thanks for all the comments
Was really hard leaving the family again to come back to training (it was our long weekend at home last weekend), but we had a big Exercise this week, so I didnt have alot of time to think about it, luckily
The Ex itself was really, really, good. We spent most of the time doing attacks, really enjoyed every moment.
The second morning out there we got up at around 4ish, sitting ready for an attack in the pouring rain slowly getting more and more soaked, only to get told we had to get our kit together and make a run for it because tanks were coming to get us! Running through the forest at that time in the morning with around an hours sleep was pretty intense - it felt pretty real, I had no trouble running with my bergan on thinking there was angry tanks behind me!
I'm still slightly hoarse, as I was 2nd in command for a section attack - basicly around 15 minutes of shouting and running and shooting, twelve of us together and I was leading five of them, it was chaos, twelve rifles going off, people shouting, me trying to shoot and keep my fire team in the right place, again - really intense, but just sooo much fun
I'll upload a few sneaky pics I got of me and my battle-partner looking all warry in a bit, just wanted to leave a quick post while I had time! Hope everyone here is ok, cant wait to get to phase 2 so I can get my PC and start spamming again
but for now I'm off to enjoy a big pizza and spend far too long in bed
speak to you all again soon!
