DOA is fucking shit, and is only liked by 13 year olds who like looking at computer generated breasts. Tekken shits on it from such a great height its not even funny.

I actually agree with young Bodhi here. The Tekken series is by far the best 3D beat-em-ups you can buy.

But I do think Tekken 3 is better than Tekken Tag though.:p

You talk such bollocks. It's not just liked by 13-year-olds, it's liked by the majority of the gaming press who (a) are not 13 and (b) know a lot more about games than you...

Tekken is a fine Fighting game... it's just for the hardcore beat 'em up fans who actually know what they're talking about, VF3 and DOA2 and Soul Calibur are far superioir.

Now please, if you're going to respond try and make a valid point without resorting to petty and weak-minded bouts of swearing!

I much prefer the DOA and VF series to the Tekken series, the latter is too combo orientated (well, 1-3 were not played v.latest) and memorising lists of combos does you better than having fast reactions and superior control of your character.
I much prefer the more fluid and less predictable fights in the doa and vf.

I prefer a good 2d fighter over the above 3 too but thats a different thread :)

Yes indeed, whilst reams of combos that require you to remember combinations of button presses are fun for a while they tend to restrict your freedom.

2D fighters better? Hmmmm, I see where you're coming from, but the precision in the latest 3D fighters is practically up there with the best of the 2D bunch... And once you're used to a bit of 8-way-run action 2D fighters get left a bit behind... but this is down to preference I suppose.

No offence or anything but knowledge of gameing has nothing to do with anyones opinion of a game.
