This is what my merc runs with. Couldn't find any str or qui cap increases when I was building it, and I'm missing a bracer. :p If anyone has any bracers with str and qui cap, do tell! ;)

Code:
Stats
    Str: 53 Int: 0 Hits: 107
    Con: 49 Pie: 0 Power: 0
    Dex: 47 Cha: 0
    Qui: 37 Emp: 0

Resists
    Body: 13 Energy: 14 Crush: 13
    Cold: 14 Matter: 13 Thrust: 17 (3)
    Heat: 18 (5) Spirit: 13 Slash: 16 (2)

Skills
5 Dual Wield
5 Critical Strike
5 Parry
1 Crush
1 Slash
5 Thrust

Cap Increases
10 Dexterity
12 Constitution

(Yes, that's Critical Strike, it happened to be on a neckie that gave me 5 con cap and some hits and resists. :p)

Also, the stat increase cap is at 13 extra, I believe.

To Illudian: an end tap in Thidranki can at most leech 50% of your end (22 SM). They do need quite a bit of weapon damage as well, since weapondamage=power. The more damage they do, the more power they get. This is why dirty tricks is quite convenient a tool against them and if you do enough damage fast enough they won't have the time to build up power.

I agree though that they might be a bit too strong, but no more than many other classes. I also think that the nerf next patch will fix them.

To Thugs: ToA doesn't increase yor stats by 12%, not even close to that. You can get 12% buff-bonus on a bot, but this won't raise the buffs over the cap. Normal bot buffs cap without the bonus as well, so that would give no real advantage.

I think a ToA template adds about 4% melee haste (+-20 qui) and +13 to one or two stats. I made a post about utility-comparison on this forum some time ago (here) . In general using a healpot gives you more of an advantage than a ToA spellcraft. There may be some perfectionists who have an even more powerefull ToA spellcraft than my example though, but I doubt they're many :).

Blokkie, Thane

Well according to that I could have over 800 hits with TOA and buffing. I can have 740 ordinarily. I only have 608 at present. Bugger it rather have 608 and have much tougher fights. The tougher the fighting the better I become - normally. Though unbuffed I can't take some down for sure and I don't even try. For instance I can take down necros if they are unbuffed - buffed I can't dish out enough damage.

Oh well whatever makes you happy. Personally I keep thinking buffing and TOA are not meant for Thid at all. After all TOA items are level 50 stuff normally ain't they?

At least I gives newcomers a chance but you lot with all that buffing and overcapping must scare the bejezus out of them :twak: .

Anyways just did a load of site work now for sum geeeetarrr playing. Hey wanna hear my rendition of Muddy Waters - Just One More Wine Bar? I manage to play it through but I gotta lot of work to do on it yet. But I just figured out how to keep my finger picks steady on my fingers - tape :) . Gonna improve atta hell offa rate now.

Me Guitarrr Playing (only 10 month's practise don't forget!)

Yah can leave comments now too - :) . Keep it clean!

Caerids Tintcure level 39
Peridas(Ring, Cloak Gem) level 30
Mordroms heart level 40
countless auralite items that give + to stat caps(hits, power, AF, all base stats)

these are just some items that i can use on a level 20 character. just because the item is higher level then me doesnt mean it isnt "supposed" to be in thid? we can benefit fully from the bonuses of these items and i do it.

is wearing a higher level item cheating and bad manners because they give better stats? you make a template. you want to max it, right?

since we can use these items, it is "ment" to be in Thidranki

And your buffed, my zerk - never buffed ..

Yes, 509 dmg with capped qui on a lvl 24 chain wearing sc'ed target is weak. Screen is from Si release. My point was that Mourningrage = slow but great dmg when you hit.

Sad that this has to result to personal attacks, but isn't replying to provoke a discussion what this forum is all about
