but you encourged the "FOOLS" to "GO GET IT" and since it havnt aired in european television its only natural to assume you ment "aquire this mighty fine piece of entertainment by means illigal in fair Europe"

If you fancy taking it that way, even though if you can spoof a US IP You can watch it on the official site iirc. ;)

yeah, but the offical site screens reruns for US residents, not EU, bypassing the IP check is violation is it not?

Keep it on topic guys. If you want to talk about IP spoofing/avoidance. Please start another thread.

Was thinking more along the lines of 24, Lost, Prison Break..

lost and prison break suck ass compared to Heroes, and yes, I guess its aimed at a younger audience, me and all my friends being around ~30 and all loving it

think heroes fits our age perfectly considering most of us grew up with comics about super heroes

Disappointing really.

*puts on fanboi resistant outfit*

And here's why:

So, season 1 was left in a rather interesting premise(even if on an anti-climatic ending after all the hype along the whole season) and we all wait for a looong time to see what happens.

And the result?

Slow playing, almost sleepy season starter which doesn't answer any questions, but only adds to the plot twists and open issues pile, before even closing ONE of the open questions of season 1.

The season starter usually should do something interesting to pick up the pace, and in general, be the conclusive thing to the end of season 1 final episode. This episode? Didn't even, well, it had nothing really and i wouldn't mind, if this kind of episode was somewhere midseason. As it is now, it was just, disappointing.

Even if i know, "this series isn't about superpowers", seeing some would've been nice.

- A new character: Eyes bleed, probably some brain force thing. Yei...but let's not show anything! Mystery!
- Another new character, straight from spidermans emo phase, who...can fly...got one, next please.
- Ok, Hiro did his usual freeze/jump thing. Atleast something.
- But the biggest thing wa...no wait, there wasn't any.

It was like a retarded episode, superpower wise, to show "Hey remember what this guy did?!" and that all.

Even the "ultimate evil" guy...(a hooded kid?) as it seems, would've been more scary if it was eminem singing his rabbit song.

Good series, nothing great, but as such...

Ali Larter is easily the sexiest woman in the series.

seel!
you missed out goldy hands and peter doing his blue fireball thingie oh and regenerate girl regenerated her leg. I can see that fly emo kid being in the next episode being in a window watching her break her leg..then unexpectedly walking in to save her. and then oh...she's ok..boohoo :(

Well yes, those too. But just as it got interesting, as in, irishmen and peter kicking a**, the bloody "to be continued" came up. Which, is a good cliffhanger, but there should've been more "hero" content in the episode.

No doubt, it gets better, and hopefully isn't as slow as the first season, but as a n appetizer, that's not worht even Gordon Ramsey saying one m in an "mmm".

As far as I see it, I don't think it's gonna dive right into it, Tim seems to have a distinct storytelling style. Seems he gives you some teasers and leads which make you start asking questions, these questions will be slowly answered in the next 2/3 episodes as more is revealed, but at the same time more questions will arise.

What can I say? I don't think i've seen many other series which you can sit down and talk and theorise for hours.

read the online comics at nbc tohtori
granted, they are only 6ish pages a week, but it's still a weekly comic with a years worth to read through so far. they really add to the story.

alejandro and mayas powers are explained a little bit in last weeks
