Watched this round a mates still not impressed. Gave up half way through series 1 though I'd give series 2 a crack. It just can't compete with the big boys though, comes across rather basic.

Maybe watching the last few episodes of S1 before you judge S2 It's a countinuing story.

What would you define as the big boys out of curiosity?

Was thinking more along the lines of 24, Lost, Prison Break..

Might be just me but can really tell Heroes is pitched at a much younger audience, the teen version of the type of shows above. Little things show through, the complexity of the characters, acting, to the subtitles they use for Hiro and the language he uses.

I guess its classed as big budget now after it got soo much attention in the UK press. Now every pleb is addicted along with their parents.
