I'm getting hooked on this buying/selling thing! I can get an fx57 (2800MHz) with a dfi lanparty dr expert mobo for ~400euros. I can get 150e off a mate for my 4400+ X2 cpu, and 25e off another mate for my crusty old mobo.

should I do it?

oh, about 550+ depending how far I take it.

I've offered the bloke 300. we'll see what he says

Go the c2d route. Sell you current mobo, ram and cpu. You will be happy with the results.

I just undervolted my cpu and overclocked it more! Now at 3.2ghz stable, on air with no change in temps.

Once I get my bank charges stuff back (may be a few months mind) I'll upgrade to a C2D, hopefully the less expensive Nvidia 680i boards will be around then!
