p4 2.6ghz
256ram
gf4 ti 4600

Every now and then (mostly then) INGAME action freezes, mouse still moves around, then i go LD, doesnt happen in any other online game i play.

just patched up to foundations i believe, could that be a problem?

got all latest drivers, latest dx.

this has never happened before in daoc, i assume its foundations, how can i get rid of it ?

Foundations is just a zone and addition housing content.
The Foundation download doesnt alter your original install.

If its happening outside of the housing zone it isnt foundations.

rams not the problem since its NEVER happened before.

maybe i should just reinstall and see what happens, seems to only happen in SI now. wierd

and yes, 256 ram is a bit not enough.

I had same problem with a ti4200 card, and i changed powersuply and problem went away..

Its either your card thats overheating or your powerpuply that need upgrade/cleaned

I'd go with overheating too. Try running the game with the side case panel off and see if there's an improvement. If there is then it's safe to assume you need a better fan/better ventilation or a more tolerent CPU (athlons seem to have a high heat tolerance)

I tend to have more problems with gfx cards overheating than cpus (nvidia cards have low heat tolerance )
