lol ya nutta \o/

...back on topic

GoA, you really do "pwn" ........your customers :/ ...wonder how many more subs they've lost cuz of this lag, probably more than what they did when item DB got f00ked over.

QQ inc...

how about FUCKING LETTING US KNOW YOU ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM & updating ya homepage or summit plz? for all we know you might be just ignoring it hoping it will go away by itself. But unfortunately on this occasion you lazy f00kwits are gunna have to pull ya heads from out of ya asses & stop smoking the funny stuff for 5 mins to sort it so us paying customers can play what we pay YOU for.

GoA really do fkin amaze me of how pathetic they are at running an mmorpg.... GoA + Mythic = Laurel & hardy tbh.

i was yesterday alone in Poc and get those lags,i was at volcanus-e at Ml1 and 10-20 people(everytime others) get permanent ld's every 30sec.
When i looked at the log in page the sum of the players was 1/2 'ed from a normal night,GoA still think there is no problem?

GoA do Decluster, you arent able to run more then 1000 people on one server.

Ok, so we decided to pve instead in this lag....take a fg to ML5 to do the mummy step...lag all over the stairs where the snakes are and wipe from random adds.

So we go there again...get three lds during fight with snakes on the stairs and wipe.

Cheers for wasting two hours etc.

Is this GoAs new tactic to promote crafting? About the only thing left to do now.

wouldn't recommend that either. just think about how happy you will be when you buy those extra 1000 arcaniumbars cause of the lag :)

will only get worse until servers go down completely again. Then they have to spend 1-2 weeks before they notice they installed the wrong firmware on the router

I doubt it has anything to do with the amount of people online, or these lag spikes would be standard on Avalon and so, which they aren't.

Network issues

Some players have been experiencing latency issues these last few days. First, we thank those amongst you who sent us information about their connections in order to help us to spot the source of this issue. The problem not being with our platform, we passed this information on to our partners who performed a maintenance this morning on one of the access points to our network. They will also continue their investigation in order to make sure that optimal playing conditions return for everybody.

If you are still encountering lag problems, the best way to help us solve these problems is to examine your connection to the game via "traceroutes" and "pingplots" and to send them to us. You can find a short guide in the FAQ to help you make traceroutes and pingplots if you don't know how to do them.
We are fully aware of the inconvenience and we are using all possible means to solve these disruptions as soon as possible.

I think GOA refers here to Wanadoo (=partners). I'm at least glad they take efford now, as they should. (Or at least they give some info about this topic and own the problem) I think most players are aware that GOA is dependant on third parties when it comes to the connection (as stated before, it will most likely be Wanadoo. And since it is a partnership, it is indeed a concern for GOA as well)

I would encourage all to make tracers and ping plots and lets see how fast GOA can increase the pressure on their 'partner'.

Not mutch to say about this... obviously Mythic can't trust GoA to run the EU DAoC for them without making a big fkn dissaster of it. Just sad.

Who said they aren't? I know for a fact (and I said so earlier) that Avalon gets the same, our group logged last night after one hour of trying to get rolling.

I don't mean recently, I mean in general. Avalon had between 1.5-2k people on during the evenings for ages, and last time I logged on there, I didn't notice any lag whatsoever. Thus, seeing there haven't been a dramatic increase in players on that server, yet they have lag issues, I'm only pointing out it wouldn't make any sense for the problem to be related to the amount of players online, which someone suggested.
By standard, I meant permanent, or for a long time, and these lag spikes only started recently (even tho they did appear in the past).
