Was a nice goal. Henry is an outstanding player, even though he did not play close to his full potential today.

Looking forward to next round, Liverpool - Chelski and Arsenal - Man Utd. :england:

Henry is class, on his day his a nightmare to try and handle. Hopefully United will get to grips with Arsenal in central midfield this game as last time they outclassed us at times through the middle in that 1-0 win. That said they are gonna have to try cope with Ronaldo who is just sensational at the moment, Larsson is looking a real threat as well and Giggs will be well rested. I imagine a really exciting close game, United will have to work hard and be totally commited in every tackle to turn Arsenal over.

I hope you show up to play football again. Instead of just playing the kicking us off the ball game. It has the potential to be a really great game if played right.

What did Man U fans think of the last game? Even though it was a loss did you prefer the good game or would you rather have played hard tactics and ground a win out?

Arsenal are not really in bad form atm :) 2 - 0 vs a in form blackburn team with 10 men for 75 minutes :)

Be interesting to see how Arsenal go up against United without Gilberto this time around though :p

Whereas Chelsea look to have a slightly better side out for Saturday vs Liverpool.

As its at the Emirates i think it will be a straight swap for Flamini.

But a 4 - 5 - 1 might be best but that formation dose not suit henry could maybe play him wide left like he used to but who knows :)

Thing about United is they are dangerous from everywhere atm, and personally I think the only way they are gunna get beaten anytime soon is for a team too totally lock Paul Scholes out of the game, He is bossing everything around atm, easily Player of the year or there is no justice :p

A few reminders

2005 FA Cup final totally outplayed you.
2005 same season we done the double over you, 2-4 at Highbury, basically Viera lost that game for you in the tunnel TRYING to intimidate certain players, that's when keano stepped in to sort that numpty out. And on the pitch we done the business.
2006 You beat us 1-0 we played shit and you deserved to win.
Even the games before that the odd tackle may have gone in, but you expect that in a big game.

I agree this season was the first time you tried to play us with out kicking us off the ball to stop us playing football. I do do not mean hard tackles where you win the ball like you say they are expected. What i mean is kicking a player with no intention of winning the ball to stop play while you get everyone back behind the ball.

Just like Savage was doing yesterday you can't call that good football and i hate to see managers do that to get a result. But maybe it because im spolit because i watch a team that do not need to do it to win.

One last time i do not mind a game where people tackle for the ball thats fine i do not like when they kick you with out going for the ball and if you think thats real football then ohh well.

And my last excuse when we lost was not getting kicked it was playing a weakened team so try again.

It wasn't a valid tackle, thats why he was booked. But Gilberto was a tart for reacting like that for someone of his experience and calibur :p

Yes i know :)

What i should say is my problem is with fouls not tackles so when a team fouls you out of the game thats the problem i have, not with tackles.

I would like to find some stats of the fouls commited in a game.

Laughable! :p

Scholes is the sole reason Utd are #1 in the premiership atm imo.
And soze, if you wanna watch pretty ballet football go watch Serie A, the premiership has always been about hard tackles and rough games, its what made the Man utd vs Arsenal games so tasty in the past, and I have no doubt Henry is gunna get a truck load of Vidic a few times on sunday. looking forward to it though

Just cos Gilberto doesn't do the flashy stuff like Scholes (although he has scored a fair few goals) he is absolutely all over the pitch when he plays and protects a sometimes vulnerable Arsenal back four superbly.

And Senderos is just a better version of Vidic.

Im afraid your living in some kind of wierd reality where Arsenal are top of the premiership, If senedros was so good Arsenal wouldnt be conceding so many goals, and Scholes is not a flashy player, he scores rocket goals, but its his interplay and sheer workforce that makes him the best midfielder in the Prem atm

Italian league is rubbish defensive and diving not good football thats what the premiership could be if we lost the boring 4-5-1 grind out a result pish.

Just to clear it up would you like to see Vidic go right through the back of Henry with no intention of winning the ball just to ruin a Arsenal attack??

Senderos and Djourou were the swiss one a two for the world cup so i do not think they really need to be doubted as defenders. And do not forget Vidic plays with a 30millon pound defender so if they have let more than one in its too many compared to what wenger paid for Toure Senderos and Djourou
