Running it on a P3 500 128 mb ram geforce ddr SB128 and plenty of hdd space left

I heard that T2 can have problems working with my sound card but I'm not sure exactly what .....

Really don't know, but dont give up, should be able to get it to work somehow.

Try the Sierra msg board, I hear the Dev team helps you out if you ask nicely

You certainly shouldn't have too much of a problem running Tribes 2 on that PC. The 6.50 drivers work great with T2 in Win98 or Win2k so thats not the problem. My SBLive doesn't make T2 crash but it makes the game stutter a lot if I try and use EAX sound, I have to stick with the Miles Audio.

Do you have DirectX 8 installed? Other than that you could reinstalling Tribes 2, first uninstall it then wack the CD in and install it again. You could try reinstalling windows as a last resort.

This might help, go to

Start>>Settings>>Control pannel>>Multimedia

Under the audio tab goto AdvancedProperties>>Then the performance tab

Put Hardware acceleration on Basic (1 from left)
Then put Sample rate conversion quality into the middle position.

If that doesn't work then i will try to find the fix to stop the game recognizing that your soundcard supports eax.

Don't give up, everyone gets the game running but unfortunately the game was rushed out with some major bugs.

Good luck...

(btw, nice new smilies BW... :puke:  :upyours:
