Are the lag jolts every second or every 10 seconds? I used to have lag jolts every 10 seconds and had to disable something every time i played. Can't remember what its called though. Can find out for you.

i haven't tried in in css anyway, went to play some 4on4 amongst mates last night and i just lagged around.

pointless waste of my time thinking about just blatting my pc and starting over.

tbh it doesnt help having 54gb of DAoC movies, 50 gig of music, some cs movies etc

himse:

run it default mode, all mods , skins, etc off
verify steam cache
turn off bloom, lighting, etc, etc
640x480 dx7 etc
see if any of it helps
