Help Wanted for Website

Need someone able to use databases also, and eventually will need some columnists(mabye)

whats the point in makuing a website if your not gonna make it yourself?

imo the whole fun in webdesign is the coding...not that i think web design is fun mind you. its not the coding that lacks fun, its all the images you have to make to get a good site. image skills are most deffinately my weak point :/

Cause making and Running a website myself would be too difficult, thats why I need alot of people.

I have someone thats getting the images sorted out for me, + I have the VBB boards very similar to these ones, which I will be sorting out, along with alot of the site content. But want it to look good and with my web making skills it wont look that great.

The more people to help then the easier it becomes.

making a website is a fairly small process.

having more than one person to code any html/javascript/css would get very messy, and having the same person code the php is the only practicle way.

running a website is again an easy proccess. you only need news posters, other than that the guy that coded it dds new sections.

the only reason yopu'd need more than one person is to make the images.



also, dont crosspost. the php board is hectic enough as it is p), so dont spam it with crap like this kthx.

i maintain my argument. if your not gonna code the site yourself, then whats the point.

Also got good Flash skills and some js skills.

I can usually do anything u want

But to be honest.. if your running a clan then you should do it yourself (or keep it within your clan).

Its a bout getting an idea out or thoughts or something you wanna say or even helping ppl with advice, files or tippers its about not that you HAVE to do it yourself.

Nobody can do everything, if he is good in something and want to help other ppl with that does he really have to learn php, html, perl, java, css etc etc before he even start a website, sounds stupid to me if you ask ( i know you didn't, i said it for free) and i also don't think everyone out there that did a website they thought was importent did it all by them self

if he cant be arsed to learn to code, then whats the point?
a website is code. nothing more. you could make a plain text website, but other than that you need to use code. saying you want to make a website but that you dont want to code it is ridiculous really.

Actually I think you'll find we don't take kindly to being asked to do something when the person is making out that by doing stuff for them they'd give us a column on the site we'd be building.....

Really i have no clue what you are talking about.
But im not born in any english speaking country so maybe that is why.

But anyway, if you don't like (guess you where talking for all members of BarrysWorld) being asked to do websites no matter what the reason you said it was why don't you just say so, instead of rambeling around about everyone doing a website should learn code and built it them self.

Couse i would have bought that.

actually if i owned a business, but didn't know how to code, id either employ an IT geek (or several if it was a big compony) or id get one of these webdesign componies to make me summit.

hes asking for help with a 'hobie' site. the hole point of having a site as a hobbie is that you make it and maintain it for experiance as much as anything.

no-one seriously reads those kind of sites, the just go there to see soemoen's webdesign ect..and maybe to see funny stuff.

look at mysic-gs site. i doubt anyone goes there for anything other than to see if ehs said anything funny in the enws. no offence meant, and im sure G knows this. you on the other yhand want to make a news/gaming site?

Aye I know it perfectly well, I also know the design isn't great either. The only reason I started it was so that I could post stuff I can't put in my BW column for various reasons.
