OK this is a problem I've had for a while, but now it's really getting on my tits.
My mousewheel has decided that it no longer wants to behave - it scrolls through the weapons fine - BUT if I buy a grenade or if I'm carrying the bomb it fooks up completely and skips i.e. I end up only being able to select rifle and knife and not pistol and HE ...do you follow?
This is especially a pain 'cos I end up aving to use keys to access these which is not ideal in the middle of a gun battle.
My mouse is your standard Logitech, PS/2 3 button wheel mouse - already tried downloading latest drivers - nada / zip. I even found a patch which mentioned a similar problem - still no use.
Oh I should add that I only have this problem on HL engine games - works fine for everything else and all Q3 engine games (RTCW, MoH etc).

(I've heard about your facial hair) - I will 'borrow' another mouse from work - but in the meantime peeps if you can suggest anything else?
