Help make my Dad a happy 50 year old

Afternoon chaps,

For my father's 50th birthday I'm thinking of getting together with my brothers and carting him and my Mum off on a 3 night break in Rome.

As far as booking holidays/breaks online goes I'm a complete newbie therefore I'm posting this here.

I want to get a flight from Manchester to Rome and a hotel (*** should do it) in the city centre over the 9th - 12th May.

Now, can anyone recommend and good websites for booking cheap flights etc or perhaps somewhere I get a weekend city break type deal thing?

Any suggestions appreciated.

There has recently been a luanch of a new Italian Airline which is cheap like Go and Easyjet etc.

I cant remember the name of it right now but will post a link when it comes to mind.

You can also look at www.opodo.co.uk as they do cheapish flights.

My parents and some friends went over to Prague for the weekend for my Mum's 50th, they flew by BMI Baby and it was pretty cheap.

I looked at flights to Milan a few weeks ago, £27 a head return. Was £70 to Dublin.
