Help cure my boredom!

Seeing as HL2 has been put back in definitely I need something else to cure my boredom. I'm not up on what's about atm because er, I don't bother reading anything :)

So then chaps (and chapesses) what games are around that are worth checking out? I've tried BF1942 and got bored of it pretty quickly, Planetside is good but there's not enough to keep me interested for long enough, no one plays Q2 any more and Q3 has also become boring.

please help, or I may increase my forum output.

ooh, I had TW2001 and that was rather nifty.

I'm getting the Call of Duty demo, is that any good?

Yes it is. Made by 21 (or something) of the team who made Medal of Honour, but CoD is not officially part of the series.

They've introduced some nice new moves, like iron sights and the ability to go prone (OMG DoD!) and the demo just feels better than the other MoH games. This is a game I shall probably buy.

I've recommended Jedi Academy before, and although its way overpriced at £35, the saber fights and some of the force powers are awesome and a lot of fun. Demo on the BW FTP.

If you've never played it, hunt out the Mafia demo. Nifty, and a game I am compelled to defend and pimp forever.

With amazing atmosphere, decent visuals and sound effects and a really well thought/written stroy driven single player.

Well it's that or more glow sticks....

I'll have a look for that, but I tried Jedi Academy and wasn't impressed at all, soz :/

I was not going to buy JK:JA however I was pursuaded and I have to say that it is infinately better than its prequel.

There is enough in there until they patch and break it to keep me playing it for the forseeable future :)

That should keep u content for at least a month.

I've got Tribes2, didn't get on with it. The physics confused me fucking big time. I'll look for demos of those on the BW ftp.

I bought Vietcong last week (as I posted on here).

Really REALLY enjoying it, was £16 from local independent shop.

Homeworld 2 should be ok, but Call of Duty is the daddy. That will be my game of choice for ages prob.

Oh and Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic is probably the best RPG I've played in years and easily the best console RPG out atm (Xbox).

Freedom Fighters (PS2/PC/XBOX)

or you could just play with these horses (Click on the face).

breakthough: played it not much differnt to others, not really worth getting
never really liked homeworld that much (then again never really played it ever)
im waiting for commandos 3:)
