Help - complete idiot needs to know how to dual log

Have my nice new shiny PC now - I've never dual logged before (my last comp would have melted).

I'm running a p4 3.0ghz, 1gig RAM, 128mb graphics card. Will have 1 TOA enabled account and 1 SI enabled account. I intend to run a static bot.

Short question - how do i do this? Please assume i am a complete techno moron - so comment s on setting priorities to low are over my head. Is anyone kind enough to give me a step by step account for an absolute imbecile?

Your CPU got hyperthreading right?

You shouldn't have any probs running 2 accounts at all. Try it first and then let us know if you need any tweaks

I don't even know what hyperthreading is, let alone if I've got it. I need instructions along the line of;

Run Toa - log in char a
ALt tab (does this work automaticall or do I have to change some setting somewhere?)
Run SI - log in char b

And whats all this stuff about setting priorities on things.

I need an edition of dual logging for dummies

Should say on the box or with the papers you got with the computer if the processor usign HyperThreading.

First try it out and see if it runs.

Yes you do excatly as you said:

If it's not working, your charachers go ld or lagging bad, come here and post and we can try to help you more.

u dont need hyperthreading to dual log, it just makes it a bit faster i beleive

works fine on my 2.4ghz athlon

more memory is nice for 2x toa tho, i can run 2xtoa quite hapily now with 1 gig of ddr ram

u just load up one client, log in, load up 2nd and log in that simple

i find it easier to manage between them if doing both in windowed mode however

Mythic fecks up royal in next patch, which will soon be here.... Unless GOA and Mythic have worked together and fixed it, which I doubt
