Like the subject says, just saying hello!

My SW:G is finnally on its way (Via an old friend in the usa) the cheap gets! only got the special edition left, thought i would have had a heart attack when i saw the price lol.

Well anyway, i think i will play on eclipse aswell, seeing as its rather pointles to play with americans even tho i do work the late sheift and only play 10-5pm then 10-2am lol .

Well anyway.

I am SOO making a dancer i dont care what anyone says about them, good or bad, Dancers look fun and cool to play and i hoped a class like this woulda been in DAOC, but hell, they didnt have much everyone hoped for in it did they lol. well anyway will proberly be around messing up the stages around the citys making a mess near you soon :)

p.s

is the game really worth it yet? or is it constantly Crashes/LDs/boots?

i dont have a top of the range comp you see, i mean its not crap but you know just worried about it hehe.

ohh ohh and another thing, which race looks best dancing? (apart from the fishy people, the hairy ones and the long face ones) :p

Well anyway enough of me.

Your friendly dancing Queen,

Hi and welcome! :D

The game is getting slowly getting better (the servers are down for yet another daily patch) all the time.

I started having more fun recently by not concentrating on what I wanted to be and instead took up some Novice Marksman and Medic and hit the countryside. I advise you to do the same as you can always drop the skills you don't want when you become more advanced and stuck for skill points to use.

I always think the Wookiees look best dancing but it might just be me :p

I also feel this is the perfect time for one of my screenies. Here is something I took on the beach just out of Kadaara on Naboo.

i wonder

is it possible for a dancer (going dancer no matter what) to have some combat skills.. like take a few skills in pistolier or something? for those times when there are big hunts on, and i jut dont want to go and wait for a camp to dance, i would like to shoot things aswell! i mean dancing will be my #1 skill and i will spend most of my time in the Cnatrias dancing my ass off and hopefully getting creds to get good outfits, and a nice lil gun to tie on my leg for thm roudy clients :)

YES!!!

As I say, its best if you do as it will vary the gameplay and keep things interesting. When you get to the top of the dancing profession though I'm not sure if you will have to make some choices between a few combat skills or the highest dancing skills. But, when that time comes you will probably know what you want to do anyway :D

Yeah there's always some dancers around. Its best if you group with other dancers to form a band and get more experience.

Go to the cantina and join the band and then grind away till yer hearts content, a few tips tho...

1- Ctrl-a brings up the actions manu, from here you can drag stuff to the quick bars, quickbar ALL the flourishes, these are your special dance moves that give better xp.

2- Dont pay for skill training, most dancers will teach you for free as it nets them trainer xp which is essential to be a master.

3- Dont beg for tips, its bad form.

4- Dance "gigs" are available to net you a little cash, here is how to get one...

- Press Ctrl-V for the planet map then click on the Guildhall tab and look for Entertainer Guildhalls.
- Go to the nearest one (this may require a shuttle) and look for the Dance Trainer
- Next to this trainer there will be an NPC (non-player character) usually a noble, converse with her and accept the job
- Press Ctrl-V again to see the job waypoint (Orange triangle) if it is in the same city as you are (it will be almost on your yellow circle reticule) if it is go to it, if not press Ctrl-D and r-click on the waypoint with the Entertainer Symbol and click Abort Mission and try again until she/he gives you a local job.
- When you find a "gig" in the town, follow the orange arrow on screen. Eventually you will see the WP beam outside a building, this is the building you have been asked to perform in. If you cant see the waypoint precc Ctrl-D, select the Entertainer Waypoint and radial-manu "Activate".
- Go INSIDE the building and perform, do ont perform outside as this will achieve nothing. After a while of flourishing (this can take quite a while, be warned) you will be tolf you have completed the "set" and will get your cash reward.
- If any players come in to watch you to heal their Battle Fatigue, thats a bonus :)

Enjoy the entertainer lifestyle, its a lot of fun :)
