Hello! New player has arrived!

Greetings all!

Just wanted to say hi, me and a few buddies will be helping Hibernia out in the future, hope to have alot of fun with you all!

I took Vampiir to learn about the game which i was told would be a good idea. And so far the class rocks, pretty easy to level, 40 in like 3 days, cant complain about that, faster than WoW and SB.

Will make a Chanter or Druid later i think... for PvP (unless vampiir is good enough for PvP), or whatever might be needed, im here to help out Hibernia, so if anything is in dire need, please tell.

Anyways, ill get leveling, so far its been all solo, just like WoW, yawn, but hopefully some grouping will happen sooner or later, i will need the practice!

Welcome to the realm - really impressive to get 40 so fast.

Take alook at the raids stuck at the top of these forums, the master level raids can now be attended by your vampiir as your 40+ and should break up the boredom of solo leveling.

The quests inside the catacombs zones are also great for experience, just go throuh the glowing crack in our capital (oposite the palace) and look for people with golden rings at their feet.

Thanks, but it was not hard to get 40, those instanced dungeons are so fast, if you get the right tasks, if you dont, just run out of the dungeon again, and get a new one you like.

I will take a look at the stickys, look forward to becoming a Master, or what its called.

And yes, i have done those quests, they are indeed great for XP, and i got alot of nice items from some of them, im heading to Shar Labyrinth and Otherworld everynow and then to get all the quests and complete them.

On a side note... Anyone have killed the named one in Queen's Labyrinth? He should drop a nice piercing weapon for me, but he kills me with a 144 dmg DoT all the time! If anyone knows about a level 40+ piercing weapon i can obtain, feel free to tell me, i bought a red one Acidspire, but i can not get it to proc, and that would be nice with a proccable weapon. /wave

Go to your Vampiir trainer in the capital, she will give you Epic quests to completed, you ned to do them in order, I believe you get one at leveles 7,11,15,20,25,30 and 40,43,45,50 (or something like that)

The L40 quest gives you a new weapon thats pretty good - but youll need to do all the lower ones before you get to that

i bought a red one Acidspire, but i can not get it to proc, and that would be nice with a proccable weapon. /wave

The reason it doesn't proc for you yet is because the requirement for the proc to work is level 50 if you right click the weapon and do shift + i you can delve the item like here :

That weapon from the epic doesnt have a proc, so id prefer another one. Not an issue atm, since a person msg'd me saying welcome and gave me a great 3.9 speed weapon which kicks butt. Thanks to you, cant remember name (doh), but was from Ebony Hand.

(I refused accepting it at first, since i want to earn my stuff myself, but he insisted, and well, i could use a weapon, shame i used money on Acidspire now though!)

Ill prepare for the ML1 thing tonight, have fun all, I sure am.

Thanks, ill relax abit now i think, this last Taskmaster Dungeon is pretty hard... No +dmg with my piercer, so aint going that fast... And i keep getting kill 11 XX, instead of kill X... Which is the fast ones imo.

Might as well use this thread as my "im a newbie" thread.
Can anyone help me get the Encounter from the Traitor's Dagger artifact, it seems to rock, healing and some proc. Ill just buy the artifact when i get rich(er).

Also i tried to get Orion Belt, but i cant find the monster anywhere... The 5% XP would help while lvl'ing! It only spawns 1 every day or something?

you might actually go for golden spear instead, traitors dagger isn't even level 50 and does low dmg. Golden spear has decent dmg + debuff thrust proc ( Which is vamps meele dmg type ).
So go for golden spear imo.

EndGame i dont know yet, might go for the one you say... just want to have lots of fun while i level up!

it's better to get the artifacts at a 40ish and level them up, as you do urself, instead of wait till the very end when ur 50 and have to deal with it than, cause it's a pain in the ass, espically wit people like horner around.
I recommend that u start pieceing ur final template together, and get the artifacts and level them as you do, and than by the time ur 50 u have them at the ready.

Well as far as i read, the Activation level is 46. So i cant use it before then. And also, i read you need many people for it so... thats not going to happen in my little world *grins*

But yeah, sure id love Golden Spear if its the best... but if its not something i can do alone, or get a helping hand with, its not going to happen. So traitor's dagger credit, and then buy it from merchants, will be the current choice.

Regularly fight vamps with my scount on prydwen. Damn they're tough, even if I get them down to 10% and they use IP I'm given a pretty easy choice -> slam and run or stay and die
