Not really.

If you know diablo, then you know this game.

RPG, which can be played solo, is instanced(as in all runs are different), gather items, or in groups in the net.

By the way Lamp, if you've ever played an EA game on your computer, that's a bit late to use as a "sod that" rule.

HEck, after battlefield, 2, and 2142, and all the other game company produce that's been on my comp, i doubt EA is any worse.

and leveling/skill gaining games have always been around, they didnt just steal it off mmo's

It's really weird, played the demo(it doesn't end?), and have to say me likey.

Diablo with guns, in first/third person view, 3d world, real hack'n'slash, advancement(and lots of it evidently) and it looks rather pretty too.

yeh i was wandering around aimlessly after a bit after you do the quests and cant get anymore, you can go into erm that portal where the techsmith opens, and another little area valve something but theres no quests or any more content you can explore

Just like with Diablo.

It shows that these guys have taken all the nice bits out of Diablo(Wart was just hilarious), added their own engine/style, put in some nice stuff and all-in-all, made a nice game.

I'm betting it could go places, and if not, atleast it's gonna be a great time-killer.

On a sidenote, tabula rasa(evidently) works on a similar "live action" princible in a MMO world.

Both games are so on my shopping list.

...no it doesn't.

Instanced in this case doesn't mean "there are instances that pop same monsters over and over".

It means, every time you play the game again, it's a different map/set of monsters.

It's like diablo, not like wow.
