You bet! I'm sad I missed the beta, but on the other hand, i found it a lot easier to wait for a game if i just kind of "forget" about it until it comes out.

Seems the rest of us won't have to wait that long after all... game's gone gold and is due to be released on October 31st in North America. Couldn't find a release date for Europe but hmm well, hopefully soon anyway.

I thought Hellgate London would be something juicy like a Jack the Ripper MMORPG in Victorian London. Something to get the juices going. From Hell.

Diablo as a gender word is just...awesome

Played the demo & Beta -- It appears to me to be a love hate game, either you'll love it and get into the game as soon as you start, or you'll play it and think "What the fuck is this?"

Having played it both solo and co-op (well, in the Beta there's no Co-Op, but you can group, and I've been duo'ing with my brother), grouping is a hell of a lot more fun, instances adjust to your groups strength, and they change every time you enter the same zone.

Seems good so far, especially for a Beta, it seriously lacks ambience though during them runs back through the instance you've just cleared!

What i've seen, and read, it's a hack'n'slash type(diablo reference) RPG of instance running, item collecting, in a london with a hellgate opened and humanity stuck underground or some such.

Seems like fun, with guns and such.

Oh, you can port between towns yeah, but afaik there's no way to leave an instance apart from running back through it again (except maybe death, but I havent died ;p)
