Ok so i've bought hellgate and i've been playing it online quite happily no problems apart from the few glitches/bugs ingame that we all know will be fixed over time 
but the servers are down for patching at the moment and i thought what the hell i'll play it on single player while i wait! but whats this? when i try and start up singleplayer mode i get the good old blue screen of death its only with single player mp works 100% fine so why on earth do i get blue screen when simply trying to start up a game?
