Hell bent polearm armsmen ?

This isnt a flame but I just wanna wake albion's armsmen/woman up. Polearm does not hit harder then a firblog using Celtic Spear...
My Lv.40 hero hits for 290-350 on yellows and my fellow albion friends hit for 180+ / 80 on base (thrust polearm).
I've read that the stats for 2-h thrust is 70% Stren 30% Dex, this is perfect for a hard hitting firblog.
someone told me the stats are 75% stren 25% Dex which is even better due to firblog stren.
When I've been running around albion clickin on polearm's mobs there life bar has never dropped faster then my hero or any other hero I've seen. I try tell my m8s they dont hit harder but there pride wont let'em down...
so if ur a firby CS dude put down ur dmg just to see how much CS owns polearm in single hit dmg.

afaik all 2hand weapons are based on 100% str cept staffs and bows

When my dex is buffed up I do a bit more damage on average. Not much, but it's there.

no, you don't.

thrust skill in albion and hib is 50% str/50% dex.

slam / slash polearms in alb hits heros VERY hard. lucky you don't have more of them

Polearmsmen/women do hit harder! Had one guy recently in emain hitting me for almost 600 damage several times when I was playing my hero with 27% resist! I dont know any hero that can hit that hard

Polearms are the hardest hitting wpn in game............ first hit, all wpns hit for same amount of dmg.......overtime.

Just look at the spd, the higher spd..the higher damage per hit (allso longer until next swing)...simple.

And CS damage is based on 50% str and 50% dex..unlike LW witch is 100% str

Donno about polearms though, but afaik CS max spd is 5.8 and LW is 5.4...so id polearm have any weap with higher than 5.8...yes it will hit harder than CS per swing.

hmmm, I think we need to find a web page that shows us a table of weapons long with the % of stats needed to do there damage (need to find a website that has them is and correct)

I belive the way damage is based is as follows
1handed - slash, crush 100% str
1handed - thrust 50% str 50%dex
2handed - polearms (slash crush), 2handed (alb), large (hib) 100% str
2handed - polearms (thrust), Celtic spear, hunter spear (possibly) 75%str 25% dex (sorry can't find the post in which Sanya stated this, it may have changed since then)

staffs - I have no idea.....I think there's some quickness in there somewhere

all other mid weapons 100% str

1h crush and slash is 100% str.
1h thrust is 50/50 str/dex.
2h and pole crush and slash is 100% str.
2h and pole thrust is 75% dex, 25% str.
staffs are 100% dex.
bows are 100% dex.
xbows are 50/50 dex/str.

(if you don't believe any of this, increase you str or dex components individually and watch your weaponskill change accordingly)
