actually, I had to install w2k[pro] tod, and I freaked out cos it was forcing the graphics card, the sound card, the network card and the SCSI card to use the same IRQ (11)
I checked and saw that 5,7 and 9 were free. Then I really freaked cos it wouldn't allow me, as administrator, to change IRQ settings.
So I gave up and installed w98se [which sucks only marginally more thatn 2k]. after finishing I checked and saw that the soundcard was on 5, the nic on 9, the scsi on 10 and the gfx on11
