So about 6 months, during the time where chars were stripped of some or all of their gear, I sent a ticket to have the items restored.

Today I finally get them, 4 months after I closed the account.

First letter with a 2nd letter inclosed below.

Recently (red. 6 months) you requested personal assistance from our on-line support center. Below is a summary of your request and our response.

We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 48 hours.

Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you.

Greetings,

Thanks for the report. We came to restore your items today (red. 6 months after the ticket was send) and found that the account was closed (red. I wonder why? ;) ). Please update this report when the account is reopened (red. sure, let me just open it right up for you) and we will be pleased to replace the items that you have lost.


Anyways, it's not a whine really as I don't care much for it, it just cracked me up they even bothered. As the account has been down for like 4 months it's highly likely it won't be opened any time soon anyways and in all honesty I'd forgotten all about it.

How about, you would quit till you get your items back? now they let you know, and you can decide for yourself wether you wanna use that or not.

This has nothing to do with me leaving the game or not, this has to do with the fact they left an open ticket for 6 months and not a single tiny, minor "Sorry for the wait" anywhere.

Anyways, like I said, it's an amusing story, especially in my line of work (customer service)

Yeah it's outrageous really, but thats GOA. From the company itself, down to the GM's. Shockingly low level of knowledge, and not a bit service minded.

We all know the lvl of support GOA gives is on the shall we say lacking side.

To jump to their defence is not like me BUT what you have to remember is it had it been up to Mythic, they would have had GOA delete the database and we would all have had to start from scratch.
