Heeelp - joining a booked game

I've been inited by a clan to participate in a game tonight.
The game Urban terror on a barrys world booked server
I have the server name and port - but nothing happens when I try and connect in the console i.e.
\connect xxxxx.barrysworld.com:99999

where xxxxx is a name ive been given and 99999 the relevent port number. I also have a password to use.

All this does is return me to the main menu :-(

Can anyone help?

(I have only ever used \connect with ip addresses before)

It's likely to be the same as normal q3 menu dumps. Just make sure that you have cl_allowdownload 1 set. Then it should grab what you need to get on the server.
