The xGb limit is quite common in Europe (didn't know it was around in Merka), and I expect it's only a matter of time before it get's introduced over here.

that could be a bandwidth bill for webhosting, not your average net connection.

thats the impression i got wolfeh, 2 gig a month would be lame otherwise, but 2 gig for a webby seems average stops ppl hosting warez/mp3s on webhosters webspace

Teh funee. I can imagine this could be a common problem with Personal Hosting accounts and alike. The size of webbys has general got bigger, with flash and large images and features now commonplace, but standard bandwidth has remained relatively unchanged.
