Healproc on shield, does it work?

I have the Enchanted Defender on my Scout and it has a reverse heal proc on it.
It says "Has a chance to proc when this armor is hit by an enemy"

This led me to believe everytime I block, it has a chance to heal me. Since scout have 42 shield he blocks a lot in PvE.

Now I have been EXPing my artis for 3-4 days in a row every evening pulling mobs and the shield have NEVER procced. Not even once.

Does that mean healprocs dont work on shields or?

I bought a shield on CM with heal proc for my paly/blockbot as well... I used it in PVE holding mobs for 30 min+ each time and so far it proced 2 times all in all, so not worth it, get abletivi proc or dmg proc on instead, the heal proc simply dosen't go off very often.

What Eggy said, only Player vs Player, the proc rate is quite random as it may proc spam in 1 fight and none at all in another, currently heals for 120hp with relics.

no reactive procs work for shields in PvE, only RvR.

If you want to pve just get an offensive one

can test it in a duel: engage someone but as people said - only pvp not pve.
