I was originally going to go for 48pac/22mend spec.

But when i Hit 40 i respec to aug/mend.. to go 39mend/37aug

And now im starting to wonder...having been booted out of a lair group due to low pac.

Is aug/mend still a gd spec or did i just ballz my char up ?

Hi m8

I have a lvl 50 healer who's pac specced. Even though i know that the spread heal is great i would never respec my healer (though i have the choice to respec from when al where alloud to do it).
I like my healer to be pac specced, but why you get kivked from lair/H i don't understand! Even though you are not pac specced you should still do ok with the mezzing and stunning since it's lvl based. When you are specced in mezz you have a better chance to get the spell through but you should still be able to do ok in lair/H without the specced line.

Good luck to you, I hope you get into a group soon so i can have the pleasure of seeing another healer in Emain :)

Mid already have alot of pac healers ( nolby stole most of em :p) so aug/mend aint gimped. aug/mend are needed alot by mid otherwise we got no pure healers and they make a great addition to a group that already has a pac healer.

edit: the resist buffs own btw, if youve got a shammie in the group you can be just like a hib group with all 6 resists etc.

You definately didn't balls up your character. That's a good spec to go for (PvE and RvR wise).

When you RvR, if you can try and hook up with a regular PAC healer, your group will be pretty darn unstopable (spread heals is hands down the most useful spell I've ever used, and the resists of yours would come in great use!).

As for a lair group kicking you out for lack of PAC... that seems really really strange as you'll still have excellent base line stun/ mez. Granted they're not as useful a form of CC as specline stun/ mez, but they're more than enough for any PvE group. Seems like you were better off out of that group if they have no idea how CC/ spell resists work (and it sounds like they don't).

If you ever do decide/ get the opportunity to respec, then I'd definately recommend keeping mend high enough to get at least the 30 spread heal. It really is way too good to neglect.

Just had a laught in DF.

We ran into a few albs. My group started attacking then whilst i was stood behind a wall out of sight just using spread heals. We died in the end but i found it rather funny :D

I think im going to stick with my spec. Ill get to 50 someday (hopefully during these holidays)

Thanx for then input etc :>

indeed a nice spec !
even 39 Mend/36 PAC was proved to be viable in RvR :)

Remember when you are lvl 50 and go RvR it really doesn't matter if you have pom or not.....you rarely need it unless you are a caster. If you chose to put your rp into MCL and Serenty you should have power enough to keep your group alive/rezz and even if you die you have to w8 for the Gothis to come and by that time you are full powered up again :)

It's never wrong to specc in healing cause we don't have that many healers who actually are great at healing.....as said earlyer my healer is pacc specced and if you chose to go Aug/Mending i'll team up with you anytime :) My stunning and you healing...let the zerks come!
