No offence but the only total bullshit I can see is this. Quote me saying it or stfu.

:twak:

If you can give advice considering this subject doesnt it mean you know about it?

Isnt this pretty ovbious? Are you jealous to people cause you never made it past Flammen Vakten, come on we´ll understand. Tell what´s going on in your teenage mind!

Blah Blah nerf the <insert spec> is the only one viable attitude imo :twak:

My healer is 42 pac, 31 mend and 13 Aug, doesnt fit any of the spec advice given above and is perfectly viable (rr3 and rising fast).

Think people forget that in RvR few of the duration based spells in the pac line ever get to last for their entire length thanks to purge, interrupts and the average fight lasting less time than the average mezz.

Sure many of you can come up with a hundred reasons why theres something wrong with the above spec, but I'd like to think its living proof that you can spec how you want and do well with a healer.

Good luck Fiver and hope you find a spec that you like. Welcome to Healer world
that spec is 44p/31m (or 44p/30m if you can stand losing the least manaefficient single target heal in the game) but you bought yourself a speedspell and traded it for the best AE mez. Your aug isn't good enough too buff baselines with that spec, nor can your haste compare to that of an aughealer.
The reason non-specialised templates don't generally work as good is because you use different types of healers to do different things. Ofc the difference isn't THAT big so your spec "works" but I don't understand why you would want to run with a less than optimal spec.

My spec and the fact I gave it as an example of how something different from what was suggested could work too, has been totally forgotten.

At the end of the day, a friendly bit of alternative advice, in no way compelling anyone to follow it or consider it the best, gave a chance for people with nothing better to do to launch a classic 'n00b gimp' attack to make themselves feel superior. :worthy:

Sad really as it was a nice thread before that.

A healer will always be needed in a grp, thus your spec will work too.

Having said that I still don't get why you traded 44Pac for 13Aug. If you run in a RvR grp you will most likely have a 2nd Healer with much higher Aug than you....or at least you should have.

...then again your toon, your choice. :drink:

i agree with this ;p

sure you might do fine with a non optimal spec but why would you want to? im sure if for example a high rr toa'd out hib group replaces a bm with a split spec mentalist they'll still win alot of fights, but in no way it means the spec or class is good and should be recommended to new players

it's a thread about healer specs, i asume the thread is made by someone who just rolled a healer and hence needs a "standard" spec to start with, which is either 39m/37a, 44p/31m(or 30m), or 40m/36p (i think)

if after a while he thinks another spec is more suited to him, im sure he'll respec but starting out gimped would be a shame ;)
