Hey hey hey! I'm the voice of...mindf*ck around these parts, if you take that away from me i'll have to get all..all...

You know.

By the way, seatbelts can cause nasty bruising and in some cases, with shorter people, could strangle you when in high speed collisions :D

Woo, I can't believe people think its a bad thing to tell. I know girls can twist things, but marriage (or any other relationship) needs to be built on trust, and not on hiding the truth. Principaly because guilt just seperates you from the person you love, and it all starts coming down from there.

I wouldnt worry about the improptu dilema, all of us who are married will meet people who we seem to click with more than our spouse at some point in our life. Because we judge our intial impression of them (and how a relationship would be with them) against where our relationship is now with our wife. And 99% of the time, the first thought is "Wow, this is what I wish my connection with my wife is like", and don't realise that our relationship with our wife goes much deeper than the initial "electricity".

When the initial excitement wears off, we can sometimes long for it to come back. So when we meet someone who brings that excitment back, they tend to leave an impression on us. Well done for seeing this through, knowing what you have now is much more valuable :)

Well i didn't say it's a wrong thing to do if you tell it, it's just that there can be unnecessary consequences of it, which could be easily avoided by not telling something that shouldn't be a problem anyway.

Agreed

It's just how the women operate, they remember stuff for years to come and when backed into a corner, out come the things you thought were ok.

I'm sure your some guru of women and all *cough* but it sounds like paranoia to me. I'll be the first to admit i have no clue as to how a womans mind operates but i do know that every single one is different, and that with time you do learn more and more about the mind of the woman you're with.

To take the plunge of marriage with that woman would suggest they know them intricately, so to tar all woman with the same brush of 'She'll use it against you...' is somewhat insulting imo.

I know that. But let's return to this topic in 5-10 years and you might have changed your view on this

Nice safety hedge? A statement that you can't really lose either way, if it goes perfectly well then nobody would even bother to return to this thread (if it's even still here). And if it doesn't go well i'm sure this thread will be long forgotten.

All in all sounds like quite a few people here have a very negative opinion on the other sex or relationships in general...and that's quite sad.

I dont care about gfs, i just want to stick it in some cave lololo!!

well, telling your gf about it, was indeed the right thing. Especially if you've known her for a while. Then she knows your REAL personallity and hopefully won't bring it up again :)

Didn't do it, that's good enough. Bound to regret it... Other comments here summed it up perfectly.

I on the other hand, picked the other option while I was in a relationship. (No longer am, for other reasons) and I don't regret it =D THOUGH... Marrige > 19 years old.

Agre*snip* that's quite sad.

Funny enough, in the same sentence you say you know nothing about women and then diss out a healthy dose of "you're wrong". Great basis there. I have female friends, couple of 'em, and i've known plenty of women in personal life over the 27 years of life so i base my opinion on their word about women in general. All my generalisations, and these are generalisations, not snipes at your dear old mama or sister. You seem to take the negative and not listen to a damn thing people say after, in between or before. So let's try again.

Yes, women are different, wasn't the point. The point is that all women operate on the same princible laws, they keep stuff hidden and lash it out at the weirdest moments. Ask any woman around. That's one law right there. Now listen, as i'm gonna say this once...again...for the third time i think...Not all people experience this! Get it? Even though they operate under the same "female coding", it doesn't mean that they are ALWAYS such nasty little minxes. But i bet, even if she's not admitting it, his wife remembers this incident long after he's forgotten it. It's there, it's usable and if push comes to shove, it WILL come out.

I never said i'm a guru with women, but i know how they operate, all the good AND bad they do, 'cause i've been around them and listened to them instead of trying to get in their pants. I've asked, watched, heard, learned and unlike you(you admitted yourself you odn't know them), i can base my opinion on the female point of view.

Now two more things:

MArriage means sh*t all about knowing each other, as proven by currect divorce numbers. It's all about "this feels like a right thing to do" more the time then "Let's think if this is the best option".

About the safety hedge as you called it, it's not. It was just a use of words to say "It will most likely happen to you later on and then you'll htink, hmm, he was right." It's not meant to be ACTUALLY proven in 10 years time.

NOW...stop thinking people are sexist motherf*ckers('cause it's a fact, not sexism), lighten up a bit and chill. Don't have to take it so sensitively doris.

besides, toh you claim to know how they work generally although you can only speculate - if you say that they tell you the things its possinble they have lied etc. etc.
fact: you're as lost on the female ming as the rest of us, dont try to think otherwise

Well it's a pointless thing really since he already told.

Yeah, every woman i ever met told the same lie *nods* Where's joor when you need him...

This is a well known fact about women, accept it or not. And yes i do think i know a bit better what goes on there then the average beer guzzling mongrel.

Well i skim read half of that, you seem to have a problem of layering your bullshit with snipes. So this will be the end of it.

Let me resort to your level: Got sand in your vagina?
