This guy loves my website. He is all over it but wot is so weird is I can't get the bugger to leave a message. I got this website analyzer software so I can see where he goes. He goes everywhere. Into every nook and cranny but will he talk to me? Nope. He is as bad as my only other visitor - Yahoo guy. They are my only website visitors but they just won't talk to me. And no I not giving my website address out as I don't want any eh - well how can I put this politely - mmm? Riff raff? Yeah ok that will do. I don't want any riff raff visiting. I will stick with Google guy and Yahoo guy. I am sure they will talk to me some time soon .

Am I losing it? or lost it? - or never had it? Oh well - wotever!

I know *bows*. Everything is ok dokie unless I am drunk. Still I can drink and still be fine and polite as long as I stay away from the hard stuff. Still have a nasty feeling of wanting to down some whisky though. As long as I can control that feeling I will be ok. You know only recently I have accepted I have a booze problem. In all honesty I didn't think I ever had one. But why do I crave whisky at times? Thank god I still have my faculties and brain power which can reason these things out. Why am I spouting such rubbish? Well I have enjoyed a few sherries and a bottle of lager. Still functioning fine - I think. Pity there isn't a 'drunk' detector on this forum which blocks you off for a period of time. Sure would stop my embarrassing entries .

When i started on mid many moons ago, i was in some cave (god knows what it was level 20 one iirc) and thugs was the only guy that would actually engage me in conversation as all the other l33tist bastards were too busy grinding..

I didn't say he did, i pointed out a possible reason of how the mystery users got onto his site, resulting in him having a dig (at least thats how i saw it, maybe i was wrong )

I am using a paid for template or theme off Joomlasolutions.. I bought it ages ago when it was only 25 dollars to join the template club - 49 now. The pics are part of a flash header of the template I purchased: js_march2006 theme.

Below is how I created the site if you are interested (posted on another forum).

I haven't designed a new template for my site or anything but there are one or 2 alterations I have done that might be of interest to some. For one thing I am using a Media Gallery from DOTNETOS SOLUTIONS which is a breeze to use. You simply upload any media file into the upload directory and it automatically assigns the correct player to stream it. You can create as many directories with it as you want. I am using them to display my guitar playing videos. Also I have just installed Mamboboard and added a spell checker. You can read how I did this here: Spellchecker and if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will be able to see the spellchecker link. Another neat script I am using is the Flash Chat from Darren's Script Archive. Amazing cheap Flash Chat and it works a treat. Other components I have installed are the Guestbook V1.0 and AkoComment. I also added the Latest Post Module for the Mamboboard and then altered the template and the template.css file so that the latest posts now show at the bottom of my main page - center section. The other software I have installed is BBClone and put a link on the top menu for it. BBClone is free visitor site analytical software and gives me plenty of info about site usage. I also have a home server setup on my computer that I use to store my DAOC gaming videos. These are shown on my site through the wrapper. Good way to add a huge amount of content without regard to space. Only drawback being slow download off my home server. Oh well you can't have everything I suppose. I think I now have a pretty sweet site and can start to get some content installed.

Nice having your own site even if no-one visits. Good place to store info that you might need at some time or other.

I saw mention of a new site on a program about technology where you can send any pic of celebrities you might have. Tis making a load of money for people. They pay you 50% of whatever they can get for them. One guy was offered £300 I think it was from a magazine for all his pics of someone but he declined. He then sent them to this site and he ended up with £8000 (I think). Site has only been opened a short while and has already turned over a million. So get celebrity spotting and find that site!

Good to have a few strings on your bow - skillwise or hobbywise. Just playing computer games is bad news for anyone I should think. Very unhealthy. I have a few strings such as website messing about creation, running, though rather poorly now, guitar playing - again rather poorly but improving - oh and forum posting which I think I am quite good at.

my best guess is that you've been wasting your time wondering why a crawler program won't speak to you. I certainly hope you have not posted any appeals to them asking for communication because that would prolly win some internet award
