HDD problem

Hey, so i had a problem waay back, before i went traveling where i couldnt install win7 because it would not format. Apparently now i can install it, however it will not format the D drive. So now im looking for a program that will format my D drive, but not the C drive, or a program that will completly format both, either will work.
Got any clues of what i should use?

fixed it with the help of the magic called youtube

Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc

Do what you need there. Just be careful because you can nuke your installation if you're not paying attention.
