Is it me, or is it particularly worse this year?

Between tables, eye drops and nasal sprays; i'm still dribbling, snottering and sneezing.

Anyone else?

Yeah, me too; wasn't sure if it was safe to do so though?

It's not odd. When in countryside I have far less symptoms. It's the case of smog, air pollution and completely still air that makes it worse and problematic: the pollen cannot escape the smog and the lack of wind doesn't carry anything away. It just sits over cities not moving for ages.

I had no hayfever this year until I moved back up to London when uni finished. I was clean as a whistle in Brighton. It's a major pain in the arse.

theres also less exposure to pollen in the winter months in the city so the body isnt used to it when it gets round to summer.
usually just a spray from the spray thingies is enough to sort me out, but this year ive had to start taking tablets too (and i have a real phobia of tablets)

Think of the non-sufferers!

Missus gets it bad, it's like sleeping with Darth Vader (with the heavy breathing) banging headaches from too many anti-histamines so no sex, and even though it's red hot all the doors and windows are closed at night. So, basically sleeping in a Sauna with Darth Vader. With a hard-on.

:(

Fuck keeping windows closed, it simply is not practical. Especially when you have a big double wardrobe sized airing cupboard in your room. :/

I've had it fairly bad this year, for the first time in years (in fact I'd say about 10 years ago when I lived in Oxford - "Thames Valley Nose"- was the last time). As Swift points out, its smog, low level ozone and a lack of moving air currents that cause it. After yesterday's storms I fine today.

I'm not fine today, but a lot better, I can semi-breathe, although I can feel the difference in the air.

My hayfever so far to say has been absolutely fucking awful.

I've had really bad eyes so far this year, so much so that i've woke up near on blind because of the amount of crap in my eyes.

Im on cetrizine atm which seems to work pretty good, kicks in pretty fast also.

Nasal sprays havent been doing the job so far, im in nasal sprays and tablets, and yet sometimes it just doesnt help my eyes, sometimes I rub them without thinking and has ended up like my friends put it "Like Data from Star Trek".

Woke up this morning and couldnt breathe properly because my nasal savaties were so full of crap it was dripping out both sides and I couldnt breathe without sounding like a choking horse.

Hayfever this year IS a lot worse, it's bloody awful and I wish I never had it.
