Installed motherboard monitor yesterday. Noticed the old CPU running at between 70C and 75C all the time.

Took the side of my case off and it's now 55-60C

Happy computing all round here.

Don't help that it's permanently 25-30C temperature in this room Bring on winter.

What CPU? and any other cooling/system specs.

just leave the sides of your case, and try not to drop beer/ cigarette ash in it. Always seemed less hassle than more fans to me

I darent look at mine the case has 5 fans on it however, and theres no need to put the heater on in my room iwth the PC switched on

Get some silent Zalman coolers.
Got a silent power supply and 3 extra fans. You almost can't hear my pc and the CPU is running at 43° C
