Not only have I felt absolutely fucking nackered all day for no apparent reason, this evening it's been howling 100mph winds and torrential rain.
Never mind.
The twats upstairs and to the left of our flat decided it's too wet to go out and play with their fireworks, and they could do it out their window instead. Explodes right outside our babies room window and shocks him, wakes him up and keeps him crying for an hour.
They run downstairs as it stops raining to be met by me on the stairwell.
"If I catch you doing that again, not only will the police be knocking on your door, I'll be kicking the shit out of you, understand?"
15, 16 year olds if that, 4 of them. I'd not hesitate to have a go at the lot of them at once for being such fucking idiots.
Then, at just before 1am this morning, the wind is really getting up. James is in his room just having started crying - he's cold. Check the window and the vents are leaking - the carpet is soaked through, it's fucked one of his toyboxes and 3 of my MCSE books (admittedly 1 was being used to prop the window open in summer, so never tell me they're useless!)
Joy - can't afford/not worth the excess for an insurance claim and I'm sure the landlord (housing association) will do next to fuck all about it.
For note, these flats are brand new - we were the first people to move in back in April this year. Shoddy build quality as it stands but these niggles are far from satisfactory or "teething issues".
Grrrr.
