You pissed that out, didn't you?

Winner :)

That is the kidney stone that I've had for about three years. It's had me in hospital two or three times, was picked up on a scan once, but then oddly was ignored on two further scans, prompting every smug wanker of a doctor to say that I hadn't got a stone, and that "oh you must of passed it. You can do that without noticing you know".

I passed it tonight, and tomorrow I'm making an appointment to see my GP, and I'm going to poke it up his nose :)

Looks like it'd cut your urethra up a bit that thing. No more curry-fucks for a while.

I'm more concerned how you retrieved it as all the options horrify me. Was it a hand down the bog, filtered through the fingers like straining pips from a lemon or pulled from the tip?

That is the symptoms of when you have an attack. The only thing is, it blocks the tube coming from your kidney. Attacks normally last 4 to 5 hours. They are really really painful :(

Not a lot, last two scans I had, they said I hadnt got it any more and it must have passed without me noticing (!!)

First thing is the proper kidney stone attacks, that was maybe a year or 18 months, including one memorable attack where I woke up in a tent at a bike rally sunday morning at 5 am with an attack. It's nasty, you cant sit or stand, there's no relief. These last 4 to 5 hours I suppose. But also there's the times when you want to have a piss but cant, real uncomfortable and can last for days. And if you drink lots of water to clear it, and can bring on the first attack, which you really dont want.

Then about 4 months ago I had another scan, they said they couldnt find it. I started getting pains from me bollocks forward if you see what I mean, and eventually passed that.

I'm going to visit the doctor soon, and stick it up his nose :p

I keep getting, very periodically, like a groin strain. It feels like i've been kicked in the nuts, and it lasts around 2-3 hours. Been for an ultasound, but they found nothing

Many, many of them are money grabbing cunts. You go to the hospital with some given symptoms that might be obvious, but you yourself know there is something wrong (because most of the time you know your body best). So they do this standard check the throat, tongue, heart and asks you to cough. Like they did back in the year 1000. Now, they begin to ask if you got a persisting cough for example, and you do. So they write a prescription for some cough drops and perhaps a headache pill. That is it. Now you gotta pay up 30~40 quid for nothing.

Now on rare occasions you meet someone that is good. Asks questions and follow up questions, knows what to look for and actually knows your body better than you. Even asks to call him back for results or a free check-back.
