Is the buffbots. Damn it freaks me out! Fine if ure pal that play buffer gives u some b00fs but honestly when i kill solos i expect them to be actually solo to! I can agree that just beacause i see a solo im not supposed to expect that he actually is solo, but this buffbot thing is pretty much like cheating to me...

They should to something like a 1 minute timer on the buffs when u are out of range from the buffer, then u bring forth the game actual purpose, to bring all kinds of classes with u in a group. And for soloers...well, we are out there to actually play solo...it has its pros and cons but thats life...

Just a thought.

2. Do you call yourself über because you have one?
3. Do you enjoy being able to solo almost every class in the game when you are buffed?

To prevent whining about buffbots: Delete / stop using them

No they won't have range. 2 reasons: the clerics/etc. said they didn't want it, and mythic have stated they don't have a problem with people using buffbots so will not be nerfing them.

Buffbots change alot in 1vs1. Just tested it on Alpha.I won, only used a Gem and Moose.Ip at the end of the fight. Got out with full health.

Alpha is a few things...

Efficient: In the manner that using dynamite to fish with is efficient. Perhaps not very skillful or sporting, but hey.

Effective (at getting RP): In the manner that getting two PCs and lines, two accounts and the determination to level two charachters to 50 so he can massacre blues, greens, and greys (mostly, since yellows force him to use a RA and then he hides for 30 minutes, lol!) in rapid succession solo - thus not having to share any rp with anyone can be deemed an "effective" way to farm RPs.

Obsessive: Not necessarily a bad thing...perhaps living on the island to long without alternatives and all. Kinda funny when a guy sees himself dropping in the ratings and then feverishly dedicates himself to harvesting over 180k rp in one week using his frankensystem in response.

But uber? No. And while Noche is the consumate gentleman, I really dont think there is too much "skill in timing" involved with casting instas ;b

Uber to me are kind folk that help when others need it. Be it a kind word, some funds, advice, a bit of XP, an old item passed on, a group in RvR, or just some freindly/humorous chit-chat..especially when things are giong to hell in-game.

1. Cause Im an sacaren Armswoman without IP and didnt put points in con, have 13xx hp I dont have a chance in hell without them.
2. No! Those in party have buffs, why shouldnt an solo beable to have buffs. Its not like him being one man army. Cause those he attack have buffs from party, and solo players without buff, just shouldnt solo cause almost everyplayer have some buff on from party or there own spec line. Dont solo without buff or if you do grats if u take one, must feel good.
3. I get owned 98% of the time, mostly of shadowzerker and tanks with IP, but every class can kill me, except bards and wardens

Buffs is part of Daoc, why you dont want them?

And if you cant get that, maybe you picked the wrong class.
We with buffbot didnt make the game, we just using what is there for us in the game one way or the other.
This is no flame to you origin poster just for those who whine that cant see that rvr and pvp is 2 diffrent things. If you like farming in emain be sure to be buffed its a dangerous place with all those zergs..

I dont mind if they deleted all buff bots if it was possible, cause it whould be the same for everyone. If I own someone without buffs I dont think im hes uber man. Just glad that I killed an enemy to my realm. As your buffed realm m8s do to our unbuffed onces.

You want fair fight.. Go pvp and pick on same classes, and maybe you can whine of he having better weapon then you.

Sometimes, if there's no-one or no groups with space at atk you have to head out on your own and take the risk (although trying to tempt the stealthers near atk to come out and play can be entertaining...) . Generally though, we wouldn't roam solo by choice

To be honest I think saying people who use buffbots are lame is the same as saying those l33t players,who wont go out unless they have the perfect group with everything covered, is lame. They both wont play unless they have the advantage

If you want to play solo, buffbots are basically levelling the field to an extent. Though having said that, most buffbot buffs are better than "real" cleric buffs, so buffbot users do gain some advantage there, on the other hand, they can't get healing off their bot.

Comments like that make me think you're the one about to go crying to your mum, "whaaa mummy, he used a buffbot and beat me, it's not fair!!!" etc.

It's the same as when people complain about Alpha using a buffbot and claiming he has no skill. I cant stand albs but I'd say he plays his character extremely well and those that are claiming it's all about his buffbot just got owned..

Buffbots are part of the game, time to accept that and get on with things

A lot of things are part of the game then Mythic nerfs them...hope they take this stance with buffbots too. I would rather they gave smite back to clerics and put buff's on range. It's a bit crap to expect people to pay for 2 accounts to win a fight.

well a few month ago "none" had bots its now when ppl realise its
aint so easy 2 play a stealhter after uber lvl it and thinking the

Another example of a shit player with one.

Ssst (or something like that) crappy assasin attacks me while I was running to suicide at ATK...

He fecks up his opening move (think possibly he was out of position for PA) but it soon becomes apparent he is buffed up to the max cuz im hitting him for feck all on his health bar and he is hitting me damn hard... used full IP and FA and was only able to take him down to 20%.. I get dropped then Iziz turns up and starts pummelling him... Ssst has no end now but is hitting Iziz harder that Iziz can hit him using styles... Iziz just about manages to drop him... but its was damn close

Everyone knows what I think about buffbotts, but theres so many nubs are using them nowadays its kinda funny...

Most of the buffbott users are albs to....

Most of them are mids. Ofcourse there's a ton of buffbots without buff in their name and part of the "buff" named are unguilded, but for Mids Duskwave returns 14 hits of which 1 isn't a buffbot (Buffer Overflow - Skald). 7 for both Albs and Hibs. And wtf hibbie said there's only 1 buffbot in Hib? Suggest checking Duskwave with the easiest searches 1st to them. Hibs propably have more bots made for speed primarily than druids made for buffing, as you get speed, buffs, rez, heals and mezz in one package, albeit buffs, rez and heals are mediocre.

Any fooking how, this thread is repeating itself and the numerous alike it before. Isn't anyone besides me getting tired of it?

1. I don't have one but whenever I have the chance to get some of some buffer with free cons I will go out buffed. I go out buffed to stand a chance against the other buffed ppl instead of having to release every 5 minutes.
2. I don't call myself uber if i can play buffed an entire evening just less frustrated at other buffbot users
3. Yes its nice to be able to kill most ppl one on one after i get my positional attack combo (perf artory + creeping death ) in and to kill ppl one on one it makes me feel like an assassin wait .. I am an assassin.
