Hate this kind of thing

Crap sites that are thinly disguised Google ads, like this one with a few pages about the Galapagos Islands as if it does cruises there with no actual info about contacting them anywhere on the site, just Google ads. They keep asking me for a link, but even their link page only has a Google ad on it; I think it's sites like this that ruin the internet for people genuinly searching for related info:

Yeah, it sucks.

It's one of the reasons why social bookmarking tools like del.icio.us and Yahoo's MyWeb will continue to grow in popularity. I often search del.icio.us for resources before Google, simply because I know that the sites in there have been regarded as 'useful' to someone else.

On a related note to these Ads...

Is there anyway to disable them? I didnt bother about them until i read this thread and relised what type of things you were talkin about

Now its pecking my head :/, altho its not just Firefox its affecting... IE too... So is it actually programmed into the website/s or something? :/
