Firstly it's Radiohead not Radio head as I see so often, on top of this I would say you're way off the mark when it comes to angry music with these 2 bands. I understand Radiohead being lyrically emotive but I'd hardly say it's angry music. I can't even see where you're coming from with DMB.

pig destroyer, anal ****, carpathian forest, agrophobic nosebleed... etc. loads of grind bands have this effect.

could also try out some crust punk/hardcore like ekkaia, his hero is gone, wolfbrigade, discharge, november 13th etc. etc. loads of bands around in that genre atm.

edit: errr, that'd be anal c u n t.

If you value your hearing please don't ever listen to some of those first few bands listed. Bad for sake of bad. They don't make you angry, just make you want to scrape the insides of your head out for ever being defiled by such crap. :/
Yeye it's my opinion... but fucking hell it's crap.

If you want angry feeling music, hard rock and metal/ death metal is probably the best way to go.

Pig destroyer, Carcass, Napalm death, Suicide silence, Aborted, Between the buried and me, Anaal nathrakh then moving on towards more hardcore stuff - Throwdown, Hatebreed, Cold war, Madball etc.. I think these last bands would be more appealing to you.

As you don't specify what kind of metal I'll mention some different ones.


Thorns - Norwegian meloblack.
Killwhitneydead (aka KWD) - Sick Hardore/Grindcore from US. If you gonna kill anyone this is the background music.
Hatebreed - Underground/Hardcore at it's best.
Bloodbath - Death at it's best! Now with the best singer of the metalworld, Mike Åkerfeldt (normaly the singer of Opeth, swedish ofc!). A must!
Otep - Mental/Death with lots of political elements, got a girl with a very special and nice metalvoice as lead singer.
Kittie - Black with another very cute girl as leadersinger! lovly voice and easy-to-listen-to-metal for the new ears.
Hanzel und Gretyl - Futuristic Metal, very experimental music with some rage. Duo from Germany I believe.
Ondskapt - Evil death from the great metalcountry of Sweden!

I prefer Slipknot, Static-X, Disturbed, Ill Nino and some of KoRn's songs.

I'd go along with Slipknot , Marilyn Manson, Hatebreed and also another band called Machine Head - they have written some pretty cool tracks.

At the end of the day , for me, the vocalist can destroy a tune by being too "shouty" - but if you really like it , might I suggest Obituary.

If its stuff for rvr - i'd probably recommend Hatebreed/Machine Head - they have some really good tunes to get the adrenaline going.

Hmm.... If anything by Metallica it wouldn't be Master of Puppets.

I find 'Battery' alot better for anger. Usually really loud and really fast guitar solos (If I'm pissed off) make me want to hit things.

I really don't see "Disturbed" to be angry at all, the lyrics are fucking horrible and his monkey noises hardly compensate for a good scream .
