yes wow have stealth. and if anything its even more ghey then in DAoC and at the same time its much much worse then DAoC

like they get Vanish as a normal skill. but a hunter or some forms of alchemy potions makes them unable to stealth for up to 2 minutes.. only REAL problem ive noticed with a assassin in WoW is the HUGE bloody DPS they have.. they got THE best DPS in the game with crit hits for up to 1500+.. paladin or warriors cant get that kinda numbers on their hits even the best of days.. ud get happy if u even get half that number

(talking at lvl 60 here offcourse with a good spec and armor etc etc) rogues are pretty unbalanced at the moment.. go to the WoW section and look at the movie Daddar does pvp (or simmilar) and ul see why

good thing is tho. that IF u acually manage to "break" their stealth bubble u acually hear a noise but if u DO plan on playing WoW, id stay away from the pure pvp servers.. those places are littered with them. like 70% of the pvp populations are bloody rogues... play on a "normal" server and u can atleast wait it out for 5 mins to turn off the pvp flag if u get TO sick of them

Biggest hitter is warrior with execute, but that's very situational.
Highest burst DPS is mage (I think), till they run out of mana, though rogue isn't that much different.

Consider though, rogues and mages are meant to hit a lot harder than warriors and paladins. Why is it people think the most defensive plate wearing chars should also have the best DPS? That's not how it works - you either have high DPS or high defence, not both.

Also humans get a racial stealth detection ability, which may be useful.

ok perhaps i used the wrong words there..

best over all melee DPS. yes execute hits harder. but as u said, its very situational. a rouge thats talented in crit hits can get 1500+ hits every time they get 5 combo pts. wich is like every 8-10 or so seconds..

and i dont expect a warrior or paladin to hit harder then rouges. just to have a decent chance to fight back. as it is now with no deminishing returns on the rough stun styles theres very very little anyone can do if u get jumped by one as they can chain stun u for as long as they like....

was looking at the video "Daddar does pvp" or simmilar. and the only class that acually stood a chance was a mage coz he was fast with blink. but after that he was pretty much toast.

ok granted the game is fairly new and most ppl playing pvp is fairly clueless. but rouges are still a tad to strong.
