I find myself agreeing (ever so slightly) with Karam. DF is in some ways quite stupid. The XP is insane, even green con mobs drop over 70s and a lot of blues 1.3g. The only challenge is the uber mobs. So far i've been there when Hib killed all 3 princes, Chancellor Adremal and finally today we killed Legion, so whats left? Of all those things there is one above that stands out. 7 of us were killing the knights near Legion when we got a Duke come with 3 friends. Oh shit I thought we are so owned, but we came so close to killing him. The only thing that stopped us was an unlucky pop behind. That was so much fun. There is fun to be had you just have to look for it and be prepared to die.

That said DF is new, lots of people are whacking forts just to get inside, and it will eventually calm down once all the hi lvls have got what they want/need. Then it will be back to Emain again.

Your challenge left is either kill behemoth = lvl 99 monster or kill your glowing dragon = lvl 100 dragon

But the dragon is a shit. It hasn't been killed on any server ever, unlike the alb/mid ones.

As for Behemoth - I'd like a shot at him but he did 2473 damage to me the first time I got ported in there. Plus you have to get everyone else ported in there too, which is a bit difficult as its Legion that does the porting.

I'm not saying I'm bored, far from it. Just that DF hasn't really added a great deal except a faster way to xp, and a faster way to farm cash.

no.

infact i reckon its made it more boring. went into df yesterday night, had a battle of about 20 a side 4 times in about 10 mins against hibs, and it didnt even slightly amuse me. df really isnt any fun to be honest, whats so good about it, killing monsters with the ai of a goldfish, over and over and over and over again until you have enough seals (i thought a seal was an animal), to buy some armour or weapon with tacky looking effects on it.

df might breathe some life into the game for lower lvl people, but at 50, as i've said many a time before, i've seen it all before. and its all DULL!
