Has anyone tried a focus dmg shield pet pull on alb yet?

my irl friend used it during a keep defence - think it was albs on inner door and he used pet with focus shield from inside - and he actually killed a blue con

(btw it is not clear what you mean with 'on alb')

I'm working on a level 50 summoning sm atm. Still very low (around 30 as we speak), but I have tried him a little in BG. Me and my brother play in team, and he's a healer. We ran into 4 albs outside mtk in thidranki. First i paniced, thinking that we would get pwned cos all attacked me. But my brother did a good job healing me so i got away, then he placed a good mess. My pet on the other hand suddenly dissepared. Looked around to see where he was, and saw some shadows behind a tree. He was fighting a minstrell, and soloed him without focus shield and heals. Summoning spec have great pet buffs, which make them uber tanks in rvr. Of course, with focus shield vs people like im-so-dumb-i-know-im-gonna-kill-myself-if-i-keep-hitting-this-pet, they would be more effective, but we all know noone will hit a pet with one of the best dmg shield in game .

So, in rvr pet are good without focus shield .. too bad that my sm suck and die within 2-3 hits!

Edit: Ops, forgot to say that we got all 4 albs at mtk with gimped sm nukes and stlong pet!

Was xping for seals when mids got DF and they stuck their heads round the corner opposite me, tbh i didn't think they would attack the pet, but they did and killed themselves, was so funny

Typical daoc player, dosen't understand that cab+cleric does not = Solo

Could bring out an underhill compatriot, buffhim with hp/af/damage shield and send him out into the albs on keep raids, if albs don't kill it, it'll kill them, if they hit it, it'll hurt them, and it doesn't cost too much power, might be a good idea , especially with multiple pets.

Albs = Giant Sporite Cluster, and can be focus killed. Set pet, hide healers behind a tree. Lure with grey con bard.

Make sure mcl and mana pots are primed as they call for help.

guess you can solo most bosses in TG then

as some guy had a FG or and playing them all and killed the most bosses. according to himself. btw, was that savage that had SC'd armour with 110 str dex con etc
